FAQs

Have questions about hiring me to be your private chef? Here are answers to my most frequently asked questions.

Where is the food prepared and cooked?

Everything is prepped and cooked in your kitchen. I’ll bring all necessary tools and ingredients and will leave your kitchen as spotless as it was before I arrived.

Do you clean up after you’re done?

Yes! At the end of dinner, I will leave your kitchen as it was when I arrived.

What’s the difference between hiring a private chef and hiring a caterer?

A private chef will prepare all dishes at your home, with fresh ingredients purchased just for you. As a private chef, I only take on one job per day, and all courses will be cooked and served immediately. A caterer, on the other hand, will typically be able to take on multiple jobs per day, as they prepare and cook all food in a central location and deliver it to you already made.

Do I need to be home while you’re cooking?

That’s totally up to you! If you won’t be home when I arrive, we’ll just need to arrange my entry. Generally, I will arrive two hours before your dinner to ensure enough time for prep.

How should I prepare for your visit?

There’s not much to do to prepare for my arrival. However, I do ask that your kitchen is clean when I arrive, all major appliances are in full working order, and countertops are relatively clear so that I have space to work. I will bring all ingredients, pots, pans, cooking utensils, knives, cutting boards, etc. with me.

Where do you shop for groceries?

My shopping varies based on each client’s unique needs, and I tend to visit multiple stores to find the freshest, highest quality ingredients available. I also have partnerships with numerous local vendors.

Do you offer breakfast, brunch or lunch?

At this time, I only service dinner parties and do not offer breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Do you provide meal prep services?

I do not provide the typical weekly meal prep services that many personal chefs provide. I only offer private chef services that are prepared and cooked when they’re going to be eaten to ensure meals are always fresh and cooked to chef’s standards.

What areas in Phoenix do you service?

Based in Southeast Mesa, I serve clients in Carefree, Cave Creek, Chandler, Fountain Hills, Gilbert, Gold Canyon, Mesa, Paradise Valley, Phoenix, Queen Creek, Scottsdale, Tempe and other parts of the East/South Valley. I do not serve most of the West Valley at this time.
