Have questions? Here are a few I get asked frequently.

  • Where is the food prepared and cooked?
    Everything is prepped and cooked in your kitchen. I’ll bring all necessary tools and ingredients and will leave your kitchen as spotless as it was before I arrived.;
  • What’s the difference between hiring a private chef and hiring a caterer?
    A private chef will prepare all dishes at your home, with fresh ingredients purchased just for you. As a private chef, I only take on one job per day, and all courses will be cooked and served immediately. A caterer on the other hand will typically be able to take on multiple jobs per day, as they prepare and cook all food in a central location and deliver it to you already made.;
  • Do I need to be home while you’re cooking?
    That’s totally up to you! If you won’t be home when I arrive, we’ll just need to arrange my entry. Generally, I will arrive two hours before your dinner to ensure enough time for prep.;
  • How should I prepare for your visit?
    There’s not much to do to prepare for my arrival. However, I do ask that your kitchen is clean when I arrive, all major appliances are in full working order, and countertops are relatively clear so that I have space to work. I will bring all ingredients, cooking utensils, knives, cutting boards, etc. with me. However, I will plan to use your pots and pans unless otherwise discussed. ;
  • What items do I need to have in my kitchen?
    You’d be surprised to find out that all the items you need are likely already in your kitchen. For your event date, it’s important to have basic pots and pans, as well as all necessary tableware including flatware, dishware, glassware, serving dishes and serving utensils. I will bring all ingredients, cooking utensils, knives, cutting boards, etc. with me. ;
  • Where do you shop?
    My shopping varies based on each client’s unique needs, and I tend to visit multiple stores to find the freshest, highest quality ingredients available.;
  • Do you provide meal prep services?
    I do not provide the typical weekly meal prep services that many personal chefs provide. However, for my clients traveling to the Phoenix area who book me for multi-day jobs or athlete clients who request ongoing services, I can offer meal prep for breakfast and lunch while I’m there cooking dinner the evening prior. For dinner services, I only offer private chef services that are prepared and cooked when they’re going to be eaten to ensure meals are always fresh and cooked to chef’s standards.;
  • What areas in Phoenix do you service?
    Based in Southeast Mesa, I typically serve clients in Carefree, Cave Creek, Chandler, Fountain Hills, Gilbert, Mesa, Paradise Valley, Phoenix, Queen Creek, Scottsdale, Tempe and other parts of the East/South Valley. I do not serve the West Valley at this time.;
